JSR Medical successfully concludes SAGES 2026
JSR Medical participated in the SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons) 2026 conference, held at the Tampa Convention Center from March 25 to 28, 2026, and successfully ran an exhibition booth.
During the conference, JSR Medical promoted the new model of Drain-TG™, DTG02-22, designed to accommodate round drains up to 22 Fr. This expanded compatibility enables broader clinical use and is expected to support continued market growth by accommodating a wider range of drain tubes.
Drain-TG™, accepted for the Emerging Technology Session
Dr. Daegwang Yoo, a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgeon at Seoul Soonchunhyang University Hospital, presented Drain-TG™ as a “Novel Device for Maximizing Stability and Efficacy of Postoperative Drain Placement in Minimally Invasive Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery”. The enthusiastic response at the session reinforces the growing clinical value of Drain-TG™, demonstrating its use across a wide range of surgical procedures requiring intra-abdominal drainage, beyond colorectal surgery.

JSR Medical participated in the KSCP (Korean Society of Coloproctology) 2026 conference, held at the Lotte Hotel Busan, South Korea, from March 27 to 29, 2026, and successfully ran an exhibition booth.
During the conference, we observed a notable and encouraging trend among surgeons, who showed increasing interest in learning more about Drain-TG™ and the “extra-peritoneal tunneling drain insertion” enabled by the device. This growing engagement was particularly evident in institutions where the investigator-initiated trial (IIT) is currently underway, fostering more active communication and clinical discussions. These interactions highlight growing awareness and expanding clinical indications of JSR Medical’s innovative approach, reinforcing the commitment to advancing surgical practice and supporting both surgeons and patients.
